it depends on a number of factors.
Plants need food, light, water and air.
So it depends on the soil mix/quality and watering frequency as well as the amount of light being provided – for the type of plant. You may get quick results with plants that require low levels of light.
It depends on the plant. Some are fast-growing, like ryegrass or corn, and some are slow-growing (like parsley or petunias).
